NSW Gears Up for 2010 All Australian Titles in Bendigo

NSW wins State 1 Title in 2009

NSW successfully defended the first division State 1 title in the recent All Australian Vigoro Titles held at Boonah from 1 - 6 March 2009. With Tasmania withdrawing from the competition for this year, the games consisted of 4 matches against the host state Queensland. The 38 degree heat, together with some very long match games dominated by some excellent batting displays, proved the challenge through the week. All would agree the competition was strong across all divisions. The only disappointment was the number of games called for bad light which unfortunately was felt most by the senior divisions playing in the afternoon games. Congratulations to all the girls in the State 1 squad on their successful tournament, and congratulations also to all NSW players for their performances during the week. It was a great NSW team effort to field 4 competitive teams.
