NSW Bring Home the Ashes
The NSW teams enjoyed a successful All Australian Titles successfully winning both the State 1 & State 2 divisions. Congratulations to all the players in the NSW squad - it was a true team effort to field all teams in the Titles. A very special thank you to our umpires and scorers! NSW Gears Up for 2010 All Australian Titles in Bendigo
The All Australian Titles will be held @ Strathfieldsaye Playing Fields in Bendigo, Victoria from 21 to 27 February 2010. The All Australian Vigoro Association would like to thank the City of Greater Bendigo Council for their support and sponsorship in hosting the Titles at this venue.
Games Cancelled Due to Extreme Weather Conditions - 23/1/2010
All games sheduled for Saturday 23 January 2010 are cancelled with temperatures exceeding NSWWVA's safe playing conditions.
NSWWVA Trivia Night
Our annual night of Trivia will be held Saturday 6 February 2010. Players please start co-ordinating your tables.
New Round 3 Super 8s Teams Named
The Super 8s Round 3 competition teams have been drawn and are listed on the Super 8s Competition page. The 6 week competition will commence Saturday 16 January 2010. In this competition we recognise the great Vigoro careers of June Ball, Jeannie Little, Fran O'Brien and Patty Stone.
The "Super 8 Team" Named for Round 2
The Super 8 Team has been determined based on statistics from the Round 2 competition. The team list is now available on the Super 8s Competition page.

Burtenshaw Cling On to Win Super8s Title
They didn’t go into the competition as favourites, but consistency was the key to Burtenshaw taking out the second Super8s title. In a final game of the competition where batting teams dominated, a first-innings loss was enough to keep Burtenshaw at the top of the table. For more information, go to the Super8s Competition page.
"The Super 8" team for Round 1 Named
At the end of each 6 week "Super 8s" competition, a ‘Super 8’ team shall named based on player statistics for that round. 'The Super 8' shall consist of the top performing 4 x batters, 3 x bowlers and 1 x wk with the most dismissals at the end of the round. 2009 SCHOOLGIRLS COMPETITION
Catherine McAuley CC takes out the NSW Vigoro Schoolgirls Competition for 2009. More information and full results will be uploaded on the Schoolgirls Competition page shortly.
All Australian Vigoro Titles 2010
Bendigo has been confirmed as the venue for the 2010 All Australian Vigoro Titles 21 - 27 February 2010. It will be the first time that the Australian championships will be held in Victoria. Date for NSW State team trials TBA.
New Super8s Teams Announced (Round 2)
The Super8s teams for Round 2 have been announced. This competition we have named teams in honour of another 5 great players - Burtenshaw (sisters Dotti & Vi), Dixon (Alice), McKenzie (Thea), Turner (Phyllis 'Min') who all played together in the successful NSW teams of the late 1940s/early 1950s. More details are available on the Super 8s page.
Vandine Takes Out Inaugural Super8s Title in Dying Minutes
Vandine hit out in the final minutes of the last game of the round to take out the outright win and surpass Buchanan on the points table for the Super 8s title. [read more - See Super8s page]
NEW SUPER 8'S COMPETITION
Round 2 Super8s will commence Saturday 7 November for 6 weeks til 12 December 2009. Full details on Super8s page.
PARRAMATTA DISTRICT COMPETITION
The 2009/10 season hit off on Saturday 19th September 2009. Game fixtures are published on the Parramatta District Competition page. For new and returning players, registration details are also available <here>.
NSW wins State 1 Title in 2009
NSW successfully defended the first division State 1 title in the All Australian Vigoro Titles held at Boonah from 1 - 6 March 2009. For NSW team details and game results, select the NSW 'Blues' State team page from the menu. Photos from the AA Titles will be uploaded shortly.
